How is the winner decided?Music shows select a winner of the show using several criterias:
- Sales: Digital (streaming services) and Physical (albums)
- SNS: MV views from Youtube
- Voting: Pre-Voting (for every participant) and Live-Voting (nominees only) on specialized apps
- Broadcast: different for each show, unpredictable_{Criteria credits: @KshowAnalysis & Namu Wiki

The only criteria BBs cannot affect is Broadcast. Streaming MV, buying albums and voting helps DKB secure the nomination.How are points calculated?All shows except Music Bank:Let's take The Show as an example.Example 1: SNS pointsMaximum points for SNS = 2000 pointsImagine three participants with the following MV views numbers:
1) A - 7M;
2) B - 10M;
3) C - 3M.The winner in SNS criteria is participant B with 10M views.Participant B receives a maximum of 2000 points.
Participant A receives (7M / 10M) * 2000pts = 1400 points.
Participant C receives (3M / 10M) * 2000pts = 600 points.Example 2: Early votingMaximum points for early voting = 500 pointsImagine three participants with the following percentages in voting:
1) A - 50%
2) B - 30%
3) C - 5%The winner in Early Voting is participant A with 50% of votes.Participant A receives a maximum of 500 points.
Participant B receives (30% / 50%) * 500pts = 300 points.
Participant C receives (5% / 50%) * 500pts = 50 points.Music Bank:Music Bank scores are based on total market share.For example, physical albums:
If in one week 1 million albums have been sold taking into account every single artist, and 700,000 were sold by artist A and 30000 by artist B, artist A will receive 7000 points, artist B will receive 300 points.The same happens with digital points. Even though the maximum points are 130000, after taking into consideration every single song that was streamed that week, even if the artist tops the charts, they're still most likely to get no more than 5% overall market share and get no more than 6500 points.
